Here's a delicious Thai flavored marinade that's perfect for chicken but would work just as well on your favorite protein.
Thai BBQ Marinade
6 Tbls. lime juice
¼ C. orange juice
¼ C. light brown sugar (could use coconut sugar)
¼ C. Thai fish sauce or soy sauce or liquid aminos
¼ C. flavorless cooking oil
1 tsp. (or more to taste) Forager Mike's hot sauce (try Spirulina or Macca)
2 Tbls. minced ginger
6 cloves garlic, minced
¼ C. minced green onions
¼ C. minced fresh mint
¼ C. minced fresh basil
¼ C. minced fresh cilantro
Combine all ingredients. Marinate meat or chicken in refrigerator minimum of 30 minutes up to several hours. Remove meat/chicken from marinade and grill or roast.
